Backup & Disaster Recovery

When the worst happens,
be back online in hours — not weeks.

Ransomware, hardware failure, human error — any one of them can shut your business down overnight. Airedale Tech delivers managed backup and disaster recovery powered by Acronis®, so your data is always protected and your recovery is always fast.

Your business data is more at risk than you think

Most SMBs assume a disaster won't happen to them — until it does. A ransomware email clicked by a staff member, a hard drive that fails on a Friday afternoon, or a fire in your server room can wipe out years of business data in minutes.

A proper backup and disaster recovery plan means you have a tested, reliable route back to normal — with a defined recovery time and no reliance on luck. We design, deploy, and monitor it for you, so you can focus on running your business.

Ransomware protection — backup copies are immutable and stored off-site, so attackers can never encrypt or delete your recovery point

GDPR compliance — secure, encrypted backups help you demonstrate that personal data is protected and recoverable

Peace of mind — we test your backups regularly, so you know your recovery will actually work when you need it

Ransomware

Encrypted files, extortion demands, operations halted

Hardware Failure

Drives fail, servers die — often without warning

Human Error

Accidental deletions and overwrites happen every day

Physical Disaster

Fire, flood, or theft can destroy on-site infrastructure

Acronis® Cyber Protect

Authorised Partner

Backup and cybersecurity in one platform

Acronis® Cyber Protect is the industry-leading platform that combines backup, anti-malware, and endpoint protection into a single agent. For SMBs, that means enterprise-grade protection without the enterprise price tag or the need for a dedicated IT team.

Unlike traditional backup tools, Acronis® Active Protection uses AI to detect ransomware mid-attack, stop it automatically, and roll back any affected files — often before you even know anything happened.

Active Protection — AI-powered ransomware detection and automatic file rollback
Hybrid backup — local and cloud copies stored simultaneously for fastest recovery
Instant restore — virtualise a failed server directly from backup in minutes, not hours
Immutable backups — stored copies that ransomware cannot encrypt or delete
Vulnerability scanning — patches systems before attackers can exploit known weaknesses
Single console — manage backup, security, and endpoints from one dashboard

Backup storage options: cloud-only, local only, or hybrid (recommended)

Network resilience with UniFi

Automatic WAN failover

UniFi gateways detect a lost internet connection and switch to a backup link in seconds — your team barely notices

Network segmentation

VLANs isolate devices so that if ransomware infects one machine, it cannot spread across your whole network

4G/5G backup connectivity

UniFi cellular failover ensures your backup agent keeps syncing to the cloud even during a broadband outage

Real-time network visibility

UniFi's dashboard shows every device, every connection, and every anomaly — so we spot threats before they become disasters

Ubiquiti® UniFi

Certified Network Partner

A resilient network is half your disaster recovery plan

Backup software is only part of the picture. If your network goes down or lets ransomware spread unchecked, the fastest backup in the world won't save you. Airedale Tech pairs Acronis® protection with Ubiquiti® UniFi network infrastructure to build a complete resilience layer around your business.

Ubiquiti® UniFi gateways provide automatic WAN failover, deep network segmentation, and granular traffic controls — meaning a compromised device stays isolated rather than bringing down your whole operation.

Together, Acronis® and Ubiquiti® give your business defence in depth: block threats at the network level, detect and neutralise them at the endpoint level, and recover instantly if anything gets through.

What's included in our managed service

We handle everything — design, installation, monitoring, and testing — so you don't have to think about it.

Design & Deployment

We assess your systems, define recovery time objectives (RTO), and deploy the right combination of local and cloud backup to meet your needs and budget.

24/7 Monitoring

We monitor every backup job, every night. If a job fails or a threat is detected, we're alerted immediately — not you.

Regular Recovery Testing

An untested backup is not a backup. We run scheduled restore tests so you have documented proof that your recovery will work when it matters.

Rapid Incident Response

If disaster strikes, we're on it. We manage the recovery from end to end, restoring systems in priority order to get you trading again as fast as possible.

Disaster Recovery Plan

We document your full DR plan — who does what, in what order, with what tools — so recovery is never chaotic or dependent on one person's memory.

GDPR & Compliance Reports

We provide audit-ready reports showing backup success rates, retention periods, and encryption standards — everything your insurer or auditor needs.

Simple, predictable pricing

No surprise bills. A fixed monthly fee covers design, deployment, monitoring, and support.

Common questions

How quickly can you restore my data after an incident?

Recovery time depends on the size of your data and the type of incident. With Acronis® instant restore technology, we can have virtualised environments back online in minutes, and complete physical server restores within hours. We'll define your exact recovery time objective (RTO) as part of the design process.

Do I need any hardware on site?

Not necessarily. We can run a cloud-only backup with no on-site hardware at all, which suits businesses with smaller data footprints or limited server room space. For faster recovery and larger data volumes, we combine a local backup appliance with cloud replication. We'll recommend the right approach for your recovery time requirements and budget.

Will this protect me from ransomware?

Yes. Acronis® Active Protection uses AI to detect and stop ransomware mid-attack, then automatically rolls back any affected files. All backup copies are stored immutably — they can't be encrypted or deleted by ransomware. Combined with Ubiquiti® network segmentation, a ransomware infection on one device stays contained rather than spreading across your business.

We already use Microsoft 365 — doesn't that back up our data?

No — Microsoft's shared responsibility model means they keep their infrastructure available, but protecting your data within Microsoft 365 is your responsibility. Deleted emails, OneDrive files overwritten by ransomware, or accounts wiped by a disgruntled employee are not automatically recoverable. Acronis® provides genuine backup of your Microsoft 365 mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

How long does it take to get set up?

For most SMBs, we can have the initial backup running within 1–2 days of agreeing the scope. Full documentation, testing, and a signed-off DR plan typically takes 2–4 weeks. We work around your hours to keep disruption to a minimum.

Don't wait for a disaster to find out your backup doesn't work.
